Dr. Ann Friedman

Dr. Ann Friedman, a licensed psychologist, holds both a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston.

 

Dr. Friedman completed her Residency at the University of Texas Medical School and her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

 

She served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston from August, 1995 to December, 2005, specializing in legal and ethical issues in the field of mental health.

 

In addition to her work, Dr. Friedman has volunteered for a number of non-profit organizations. Since 1997, she has served on the Board of Trustees of the Houston A+ Challenge (formerly the Houston Annenberg Challenge), where she has overseen the Program Evaluation subcommittee, served as Secretary of the Board, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Dr. Friedman has previously served on the non-profit Boards of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston (Chairman), Serve Houston Youth Corp (Co-Founder), Houston Proud (Co-Founder & President), Holocaust Museum Houston, The Forum Club, Texas Lyceum Association, and Avondale House for Autistic Children.
