Bishop Curtis J. Guillory

 

Most Reverend Curtis J. Guillory has served as the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont since July, 2000 and previously served as Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Galveston-Houston and the Director of the College Seminary Foundation for the Society of the Divine Word in New Orleans, Louisiana.

 

Bishop Guillory has held many church and civic responsibilities, serving as the chair of the Committee of African-American Catholics for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, a member of the Board of Trustees of Xavier University of Louisiana and the Sacred Heart School of Theology in Wisconsin, a Board member of the Houston Area Urban League and the YMCA, and a member of the national Board of Directors for Catholic Relief Services.
