Linda Quick

Linda is a lifelong Texas resident and community volunteer. After her 31 year career in the retail industry, she founded Quick Thinking, Inc., a marketing consulting firm which specialized in helping CEO’s and CMO’s rapidly strategize and address marketing challenges.

As the former Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Foley’s in Houston, Linda initiated the partnership between Foley’s (today Macy’s) and CDF’s Texas Beat the Odds® (BTO) program that continues to this day. She was instrumental in developing a CDF presence in Dallas, including helping to establish the first BTO scholarship awards there.

Linda is the recipient of many awards and honors for her community service. She served three terms as Chairman of the Board of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the March of Dimes. She also served for six years as a non-paid advisory to the Mayor of Houston, and has served on numerous not for profit boards.

Linda received her BS degree in Journalism from Sam Houston State University where she was named Outstanding Alumnus in 2000.
