CHILDREN’S DEFENSE FUND TO HOST IDOL GIVES BACK VIEWING PARTY

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) — The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) will hold a viewing party from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, April 9th at Star Pizza in the Heights to celebrate its selection as a beneficiary of this year’s “Idol Gives Back” fundraiser, a special broadcast of “American Idol” on FOX.

“Idol Gives Back” seeks to raise awareness and funds for domestic and international organizations that help children and young people, especially those living in poverty. Academy Award® winning actress and CDF Board Member Reese Witherspoon will highlight CDF’s work for children during the April 9 broadcast.
