With offices in Houston, Austin and the Rio Grande Valley, CDF Texas represents the interests of children as state policies develop that impact their lives.

CDF Texas provides information about the condition of Texas children, connects children and families to programs and services that can help meet their needs, and works with community partners statewide, creating networks of support that take local action for children.

Health Care Access
Our top priority is to ensure every child a healthy start in life and access to affordable health coverage through CHIP and Medicaid for all eligible children.

CDF Texas leads statewide efforts to connect ALL children to a primary care resource by advocating, organizing, outreach and enrollment.

Early Care and Education
CDF Texas houses the Texas Early Childhood Education Coalition (TECEC) whose mission is to build a system of quality early care and education that prepares children in Texas for success in their education and life.
