Strengthening FamiliesStrengthening Families - Year round!

During tax season and in every season

CDF Texas in partnership with Chase Bank and the Catholic Campaign for Human Development works to strengthen and lift families out of poverty through:
  •  Financial Literacy Training
  •  Asset Building Education
  •  Earned Income Tax and Child Tax Credit Workshops
  •  Promotion of Free Tax Preparation VITA Sites
  •  CHIP outreach
  •  Interfaith initiatives

Annual Financial Literacy Conference educates business and community leaders on ways to help employee families save their hard-earned money.

Small financial workshops throughout the year educate families directly about banking and financial services, free tax preparation VITA sites, and tax credits.

CDF educates faith leaders and congregations during the annual National Observance of Children's Sabbaths®. We produce interfaith toolkits to share important information about public benefits and tax credits with working families in more than 5,000 congregations across Texas.

CDF hosts an annual Interfaith Luncheon seeks to encourage diverse communities to put faith into action to seek justice for children and families.
