On May 3, 2012 CDF-Texas will celebrate the 13th annual Beat the Odds^® awards in Houston at the Hilton Post Oak. The celebration will honor the extraordinary achievements of five high school seniors who have overcome tremendous obstacles in life to achieve academic success and demonstrate leadership. In addition to college scholarships, students receive continued support, mentoring and leadership development training opportunities from CDF.
